Quora QnA¶
[Question]¶
I think Donald Trump has done more for this country than Barack Obama has done his whole career. Can you change my mind?
[Answer]¶
Why would I try to change your mind. I agree with you.
-
Trump is bringing coal back to prominence and Obama would never have done that.
-
Trump is sending in troops to Portland, OR. to ensure that the one protestor with a sign mocking him is quelled. Obama would not have done that.
-
Trump has placed stiff tariffs on our neighbors Mexico and Canada. Obama would not have done that.
-
Trump has talked about taking over Greenland. Obama would not have done that.
-
Trump has increased his net worth by 3 billion dollars in the nine months in office. Obama couldn’t do that.
-
Trump sells shoes, bobble-head dolls, photo-shopped hero figures. Obama wouldn’t do that.
-
Trump has allowed our weather satellites to burn-up in space that tracks global warming. Obama wouldn’t do that.
-
Trump has caused 15 million of Americans to lose their healthcare. Obama wouldn’t do that.
That should be enough to show you that I am in complete agreement with you..

I just thought of another one too valuable to keep to myself.
- Trump had a video made that showed him piloting a plane and bombing New York with excrement. Obama would never have done that.
So, nine reasons that show I agree with you.
Why is the whole world¶
lining up against the US?
Greetings from Norway
The world is not ‘lining up against the US ‘, we are responding to the actions of your country.
You elected a pedophile traitor wearing diapers for president -twice. Even after he attempted a coup.
Now, democratic countries like Brasil and South Korea prosecute coup makers, but not the US. The US is no longer a functioning democracy and has not been for quite some time. Your political, constitutional and judicial systems are corrupt to such an extent that when your president, a convicted felon, actively is selling the presidency to the highest bidder nothing happens. When your president openly aids your enemies nothing happens. When your president piss on your constitution, and thereby piss on your citizens, nothing happens. In fact, a lot of you cheer him on.
On top of this your president threatened allies with military force, started a trade war, has bombed seven different countries within the span of twelve months, and is crying like a spoilt toddler when said allies say no to participate in an unnecessary and unlawful war HE started—a war that has nothing to do with NATO at all. A war that will cause enormous economic hardship for the rest of the world, and still many of you cheer him on.
Trump would never have been elected -twice- if the US had a general population with ethics and morals in place. Sure, many of you cry out ‘he’s not my president!’, but that's just another irresponsible fallacy showing the exeptionalism festering your society, because he IS your president.
21% of your adult population are illiterate, 50% are on a sixth grade level. You have no free healthcare and your tax system is designed for the 0.1% richest inhabitants. Guns are obviously more important than children, if not you would have done something constructive about all the school shootings instead of resorting to instruct children how to hide under their desk from school shooters.
..and still you brag about living in the best country in the world.
The civilised world has now lost all trust and respect for the US, Trump is merely a symptom of the rot within.
Tariffs are a headache but¶
have a surprise upshot: the U.S. is raking in billions more than expected. What are your thoughts on this?
Taking in billions! Cool dude! Tariffs seem to do everything you wanted them to do, right? Well I am happy for you.
Those things that you tariff you are paying to your government as taxes. Notice you are not selling your products around the world like you used to? Notice your resort hotels, restaurants, tourist businesses are way down and suffering.
So let me get this straight … you pay more, you sell less, and you are bragging? Well congratulations! See? I am so happy for you.
Cherry on top? Your farms have no workers, so you don’t have to cry other countries don’t buy your crops because seems to be you have no crops. Hey, you really got great news on top of great news. Keep bragging my former friend, keep bragging!
Why do people¶
consider MAGA to be a cult? I am a part of MAGA, and I never see the woke liberals and their gay conversion camps be called out for being cultists.
We call MAGA a cult because of this shit:
The books written calling him Jesus
The plays produced calling him Jesus’
The movies made calling him Jesus.
And the fact that not one single Trump supporter has ever criticized him, not once, and not over anything.
Then, of course, there’s this [Cult Education institute, 2005]:
20 indicators you might be in a cult
- Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
- No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
- No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
- Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
- There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
- Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
- There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the leader.
- Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
- The leader is always right.
- The leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.
- Extreme obsessiveness regarding the leader resulting in the exclusion of almost every practical consideration.
- Individual identity, the group, the leader and/or God as distinct and separate categories of existence become increasingly blurred. Instead, in the follower's mind these identities become substantially and increasingly fused--as that person's involvement with the leader continues and deepens.
- Whenever the leader is criticised or questioned it is characterised as "persecution".
- Uncharacteristically stilted and seemingly programmed conversation and mannerisms, cloning of the leader in personal behaviour.
- Dependency upon the leader for problem solving, solutions, and definitions without meaningful reflective thought. A seeming inability to think independently or analyze situations without the leader’s involvement.
- Hyperactivity centred on the leader’s agenda, which seems to supercede any personal goals or individual interests.
- A dramatic loss of spontaneity and sense of humour.
- Increasing isolation from family and old friends unless they demonstrate an interest in the leader.
- Anything the leader does can be justified no matter how harsh or harmful.
- Former followers are at best-considered negative or worse evil and under bad influences. They can not be trusted and personal contact is avoided.
But the biggest one is: The leader is always right.
Go ahead and tell me that doesn’t apply to Trumpians.
Even ELON had a hat that said, “Trump was right about Everything”.
In fact, you can buy it on Amazon.
Cult.
Cult Cult Cult.
